GA4 + Threads + Health

Strategy is best met with innovation

finish the week strong.

Welcome to the end-of-week wrap-up where we share tools, tips, and ideas that help drive your growth efforts forward. This week we highlight GA4, Facebook launched Threads today, and make get mghty as part of your health routine.

šŸ˜Ž GA4 is mainstream now

Well, the clock has stopped ticking, and now Universal Analytics from Google is no longer processing your events. For many, this is a nightmare, but let me reassure you that once your new property is set up and you start poking around, there are a lot of improvements shifting to Google Analytics 4.

A few to mention are more granular reporting, event-based tracking, and lots of filters to customize what you are looking atā€”all this to help you make better decisions with your business and marketing.

If you donā€™t know where to start, head over to the link below to create a new property if you havenā€™t already.

Facebook launched Threads today

Have you heard of Twitter? Well, then you might not need to read much more here because, from my quick onboarding and some scrolling, that is exactly what Meta (Facebook and Instagram) have built. I was surprised by this move, but with all the attention Elon has drummed up about Twitter perhaps they thought Facebook could keep more of their existing users and tap into a younger demo with already-made accounts being able to opt in.

We will see where it goesā€”Iā€™m going to give it a run, but already I am seeing loads of business accounts spamming and not really any noteworthy news or thought leadership like you see on Twitter. The digital town square is cool, but when it starts to look like Times Square with ads all over the place, it can get a little played out. Only time will tell how Meta threads that needle.

If you want to skip the presser from Meta below and go straight into the app open Instagram, tap the hamburger menu on the upper right corner, and select the Threads CTA. Cheers

Make get mghty as part of your health routine

If you have been wondering where we have been the last couple weeks, good! That means you are getting value out of this newsletter. But we practice what we preach and took some time off with the family up in Michigan. We enjoyed time with family and nature.

After getting back, we wanted to launch something special for professionals like ourselves who are on the hustle. We created mghty which offers subscriptions to awesome health supplements made here in the United States. We know that supplements alone are not the answer for health and self-care, but we have found in our own lives it they lead to making better choices for our well-being.

We invite you to learn more, take up the challenge to get mghty for 30 days, and let us know how it goes. We would love to feature your story right here on the Thursday Hustle that goes out to nearly 10,000 professionals.

Thanks for joining us this week, and remember, you are almost there. Keep up the hustle!

Cheers,

Blake, Founder of Chasing Creative
