You may have heard of ByteDance recently in the news—that is because they own TikTok—but have you heard of Lemon8 their newest app? Recently launching in the U.S. after starting out abroad they boast a reported 5 Million active users already.

After reviewing their app it’s vibrant in character and offers a lot of lifestyle-curated content around the main themes of Fashion, Beauty, Food, Wellness, Travel, Home, etc. One main difference you will surely notice between TikTok and Lemon8 is that you are able to post images—not only video content to the platform.

One thing you will surely notice as well is the use of typography. Within images or thumbnails, there is a powerful use of text that feels editorial and designer in nature. This could bring in a new component for marketing professionals and influencers in the future to leverage ad layout-styled posts.

NOTION OFFERS A NEW AI PROJECT MANAGEMENT FEATURE

As someone who has done quite a bit of creative work, writing, and planning—Notion was a tool I gravitated to right away. I still use multiple platforms for working on projects and collaborating with others like Google Suite, Click-Up, Trello, Airtable, and more. Each has its own unique thing that makes them great for a certain project.

However, I have to say writing documents, creating tables, and even making things like a team dashboard/hub on Notion is incredibly easy. I’ve also shared in the past how easy it is to develop a content strategy in Notion. This past week they have been pushing their new project templates that incorporate AI functionality.

With the ability to create projects, tasks, sprints, add assignees, and view by several types of formats the update will be a game changer for those who need to add more project management to their work in Notion. The best part is that Notion continues to add favorable integrations with tools like Slack, Figma, Jira, and more.

I am excited to see how they build on this automation and make the platform easier to use for teams and guest seats.
