Do you subscribe to any brands?

This week I attended Subsummit in Dallas.

It is an annual conference where some of the best brands on the planet running subscription programs come to gather, network, and learn.

Key experts in SAAS, Logistics, Product, and more get on stage or expo to share what is next in the world of subscriptions.

And the digital landscape is shifting.

Brands need to focus efforts on keeping costs down and retention up.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned is that they are willing to take a loss on the first few months of a new member to have a higher Life Time Value (LTV).

And no matter if your business is a one-time purchase or recurring we all know that LTV is the goal with every customer we have.

That is because the cost of acquisition is so high these days. And competitive.

Here is what I challenge you with.

Send a note to your team and ask them—how do you think we could increase LTV in the next 60 days?

What is something we could add?

or what are some incentives we could provide upfront…in order to gain much more in the backend of the relationship?
